Out and about: Selena Gomez was spotted stepping out in Paris, France on Sunday, where she is working on a new film

The star is currently in the City of Love to film Jacques Audiard’s musical crime comedy Emilia Perez.

Karla Sofia Gascón and Zoe Saldaña will also star in the upcoming movie, which began shooting this spring.

According to Deadline, production was delayed by six months due to scheduling conflicts.

Gascón, a transgender actor from Argentina, will portray a Mexican cartel leader who changes his sex to evade law enforcement officials, becoming the woman he’s always longed to be.

The feature was originally slated to shoot in Mexico, but plans were changed to shoot in a studio near Paris.

In addition to directing, Audiard also penned the script in collaboration with French screenwriter Thomas Bidegain.

In other professional pursuits, Gomez is set to host two new shows ordered by Food Network, Variety reported on Wednesday.

The actress will star in a 'celebration-focused series,' which will hit small screens during the 2023 holiday season.

Then, in 2024, Gomez will be in a not-yet-titled show that will follow her as she goes to other chefs' kitchens.

The untitled project will feature Gomez 'meeting up with some of the best chefs in the country in a quest to cook their most popular dishes when she visits their kitchens,' according to the outlet.

The former Disney star has already seen success with HBO Max's Selena + Chef series, which has so far run four seasons.

Warner Bros. Discovery’s chairman and chief content officer of US Networks, Kathleen Finch, announced the upcoming shows in New York City on Wednesday.

Speaking to advertisers at the network's upfront presentation held at Madison Square Garden, she said: 'The holidays are always huge for Food Network, reaching nearly 60M P2+ viewers, and having Selena kicking off the nearly 100 hours of new and returning holiday programming will certainly make this coming season one to celebrate.'

Each of the new series starring Selena will be produced by July Moon Productions and The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC), a part of Sony Pictures Television for Food Network.

Selena, who just wrapped season three of her hit show Only Murders In The Building, has yet to comment on the new gigs.
